We Run Together - Community Run - SFRC Sunday at 10:30

Bobcat Families join us Sunday at 10:30 to run or walk 2.63 miles at SFRC.
Wear your Bobcat t-shirt! The course will go out and back on the bike path towards Sausalito. There is pavement and a bit of trail next to the side walk.  I will be there to record mileage for any bobcat member who shows up. I will also pass out your charms for the week.

We will still have the afternoon Bobcats practice at 4 at Marin Catholic!

This event is being hosted by Kathy Johnson and SFRC.

We would like to invite the entire Bay Area running community to join us for a 2.62 mile fun run to celebrate and share in the spirit and camaraderie of the upcoming Boston Marathon on April 21st, and demonstrate that runners from all over the country are in this together.

We are partnering with the SF-Marin Food Bank and ask that everyone please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to help those in our community that are in need.

Our friends from Hoka OneOne will be on hand with demo shoes if you would like to try out a pair of Hokas on the run. Hoka elite athlete Sage Canaday (2013 Lake Sonoma 50 Winner, 2:16 marathoner) will be hanging out to chat with runners!

Locals Osmo Nutrition will set up jugs of sports drink for pre and post run!

For food donations, the SF-Marin Food Bank needs the same non-perishable quality foods that runners eat! Granola bars, nut butters, soup, beans, cereals, canned tuna and salmon, canned fruits and vegetables - just don't bring anything in glass or that is perishable. We will have large barrels at SFRC from Friday, April 11th to Monday, April 14th to collect food donations.

For the run we will head out to the Mill Valley-Sausalito bike path for 2.62 miles, though you are of course welcome to run a bit longer as well! We will be leaving from the store at 10:30am. This is an all-levels and all-ages fun run and you are welcome to walk as well. Come a little bit early to try on some Hokas if you would like to take them on the run.

If you have run the Boston Marathon in the past then show up in your Boston race gear!
